Skip sex, nudity and gore on Netflix
Keep watching. Skip the scene.
CutCat mutes or skips sex, nudity and gore while you watch Netflix, using scenes marked by viewers who got there first. The film keeps playing. You just do not sit through that part.
Free. No ads. Works inside the Netflix player you already use.
1,575 scenes already marked across 145 titles, and counting.
CutCat installs on a computer
It is a Chrome extension, so it goes on the browser you watch Netflix in. Send yourself this page and add it in a few seconds when you are next at your desk.

A marked scene is gone before it starts
Playback jumps the whole stretch. You see the story either side of it and never the part in between.
A word is muted, then the sound comes straight back
Only the line is silenced, measured to the frame, so you do not lose the scene around it.
You decide what counts
Switch whole categories on or off. Mute strong language and skip nothing else, if that is what you want.

Questions people ask first
Does it work on a phone, tablet or TV?
No. CutCat is a Chrome extension, so it runs in Chrome on a computer. It cannot be installed on a phone, a tablet or a smart TV. If you are reading this on a phone, send yourself the link and add it when you are at your computer.
Does it work on Prime Video, Hotstar or other services?
No. It works on Netflix only.
What happens on a film nobody has marked?
It plays as normal. CutCat only acts on scenes viewers have marked, so check the list above for what is covered. The list grows as viewers mark more.
Does it change or cut the film?
No. Nothing is downloaded or altered. When playback reaches a marked stretch it jumps past it, or the sound drops for a marked line and comes straight back.
Does it record what I watch?
No. It never records what you watch, and your category settings stay in your browser. The privacy policy lists exactly what is and is not collected.
Is it free?
Yes. It is free and has no ads.
